Japanese Company TS Corporation Visits FT to Recruit Graduates

Wednesday, July 17, 2024, the Faculty of Engineering at UNY received a visit from a Japanese company, TS Corporation. Based in Okayama, Japan, the company operates in the automotive maintenance, repair, and sales industry. Aligned with its business field, the purpose of the visit to UNY was to recruit alumni from the Department of Automotive Engineering Education. The President Director of TS Corp., Saito Tokihiko, stated that their company needs engineers specializing in automotive maintenance and repair for the long term.

Perusahaan Asal Jepang, TS Corporation, Berkunjung Ke FT Untuk Merekrut Alumni

Rabu, 17 Juli 2024, Fakultas Teknik UNY kedatangan tamu perusahaan asal Jepang, yaitu TS Corporation. Perusahaan yang bebasis di Okayama, Jepang tersebut bergerak di bidang indusri jasa perawatan, perbaikan dan jual-beli kendaraan bermotor. Sesuai dengan bidang bisnisnya, tujuan kunjungan ke UNY adalah untuk rekrutmen alumni Departemen Pendidikan Teknik Otomotif. Presiden Direktur TS Corp., Saito Tokihiko, menyampaikan bahwa perusahaan mereka membutuhkan enginer bidang perawatan dan perbaikan kendaraan bermotor, untuk periode jangka panjang.

GARUDA UNY ECO TEAM WINS 2ND PLACE IN SHELL ECO-MARATHON ASIA-PACIFIC AND MIDDLE EAST 2024

Garuda UNY Eco Team won second place in the Shell Eco-marathon Asia-Pacific and Middle East 2024 held at Mandalika International Circuit, Indonesia in the Urban Gasoline category. This achievement adds to Garuda UNY Eco Team's achievements in vehicle energy efficiency competitions at the international level.

The cooperation implementation agreement between the Faculty of Engineering UNY and the Faculty of Engineering, University of Malaysia Pahang Al Sultan Abdullah was held on Tuesday, April 30, 2024. The signing of the collaboration was attended by Dr. Muhammad Yusri Ismail (UMPSA Malaysia), Prof. Dr. Mutiara Nugraheni, S.TP., M.Si (Dean of FT UNY), Dr. Drs. Totok Heru Tri Maryadi M.Pd. (Vice Dean III FT UNY), all lecturers and student representatives of the Automotive Education Department of the Faculty of Engineering UNY.

IMPLEMENTATION OF COOPERATION BETWEEN FT UNY AND UTHM MALAYSIA

The Faculty of Engineering, Yogyakarta State University (FT UNY) and Tun Hussein Onn University Malaysia (UTHM) implemented the cooperation that had been agreed between the two parties. The activities carried out on this occasion were in the form of Visiting Professor or Guest Lecturer activities in the Master of Electrical Engineering Education (S2 PTE) and S1 Automotive Engineering Education (S1 PTO) Study Programs. Acting as VP from UTHM is Prof. Madya. Ts. Affero bin Ismail who also serves as Head of the Digital Information Center at UTHM.

Achieve PKKM 2023 Grant Funding Department of Automotive Engineering Education Prepares to Become a Green Transportation Vocational Center

Proud news comes from Yogyakarta State University, especially the Department of Automotive Engineering Education (DPTO) which has succeeded in obtaining the 2023 Independent Campus Competition Program (PKKM) Grant Fund in League 1 along with two other Study Programs (Fashion Management Education Study Program and Management Study Program) and ISS-MBKM. DPTO received a grant of Rp 1.5 billion from the total grant received by Yogyakarta State University of 5.7 billion.
