Thursday (27/02/20), the Garuda UNY team received a guest from PT Autochem Industry, which is a company engaged in the chemical sector for vehicle and industrial maintenance needs. Established on November 13, 1984, this factory was inaugurated by the Indonesian Minister of Industry, Hartarto and the Indonesian Minister of Manpower, Sudomo in 1987. Various products such as Master, Prestone, Autolite spark plugs, and Fram oil filters have been presented in Indonesia where Brake Fluid Prestone is a product. first produced by this factory.

Providing quality products with quality standards through ISO 9001: 2015 and the Indonesian National Standard (SNI), as well as receiving awards from national media from Top Brands to Super Brands, is a challenge for the Garuda UNY Team to embrace and collaborate with companies with the aim of improving car quality to be more competitive in the upcoming international competition with quality products from PT Autochem Industry, one of which is Prestone Products.

Prestone is a green engine coolant formulated for all types of motorized vehicles. This product uses liquid as an engine protection medium or it can be called the Engine Cooling System. Prestone has been equipped with several additional additives that have functions as engine coolant, anti-rust, anti-corrosion, and as a lubricant.

Located at RM2, Yogyakarta State University, Faculty of Engineering, Prestone attended a presentation delivered by Mr. Zainal Arifin as advisor regarding the competition that the Garuda UNY Team would participate in. Likewise, I Wayan Warsita as Chair of the FSAE Japan 2020 Garuda UNY team, explained about one of the competitions that will be held in Japan, namely Student Formula Japan or more commonly referred to as SFJ. He explained about the competition and the obstacles the team went through in the previous year. Of course, he also informed about the SEM development plan in the future which was presented by a member of the Garuda UNY Team design team.

Apart from participating in the presentation of Mr. Zainal Arifin and I Wayan Warsita, Prestone also visited the Garuda UNY basecamp team to see and chat about the car the team will use in various upcoming competitions. That way, both parties, Garuda UNY Team and PT Autochem Industry hope to establish good cooperation. In addition, both of them also hope that the Garuda UNY Team can achieve the target in each competition by using quality products from PT Autochem. (Han/Mal)
