Learning Outcomes

Bachelor of Education in Automotive Engineering UNY formulated the programme learning outcomes (PLO) based on government policy, vision and mission of the university and degree programme, and feedback from stakeholders. In general, PLOs  cover domains: attitude, knowledge, specific skills, generic skills and additional competency which are specified as follows.
1.  to demonstrate religiosity and human values in workplace and society;
2.  to demonstrate responsibility, adaptability, autonomy, and leadership in accomplishing tasks;
3.  to demonstrate both written and oral communication, and collaboration skills;
4.  to demonstrate the ability to effectively use information and communication technology;
5.  to plan, implement, and evaluate an active, innovative, and creative learning process through the use of learning models and media in the automotive engineering field;
6.  to apply learning strategies and methods based on the development of science and technology, so as to equip students to have knowledge, skills and life skills;
7.  to apply and develop automotive technology, maintain, repair and modify motor vehicles;
8.  to apply and develop areas of specialization beyond the main competency;
9.  to observe, ask, try, reason, present, create learning process in the field of education and automotive engineering  through understanding the characteristics of students, in planning, implementing, evaluating and reflecting on curriculum content, learning processes, and systematic assessments (developed accordingly with the main competencies of each subject)
10. to observe, ask, try, reason, present, create automotive technology through scientific reasoning, by using logical, critical, adaptive and innovative thinking based on scientific principles arranged in the form of a thesis / final project report, or product design  along with their descriptions based on standard design methods or rules which can be accessed by the academic and non-academic communities through various media to the public in the automotive field (developed according to the main competencies of each subject)
