Yogyakarta, August 1, 2014 – The Automotive Student Association of the Faculty of Engineering, Yogyakarta State University (HIMA Otomotif FT UNY) hosted a national seminar titled "Electric Motorcycle Conversion: Emission-Free Riding as an Effort to Save the Earth." The seminar, which was held virtually via Zoom Meeting, featured Ayuning Fitri Desanti, ST., MT., Co-Founder of PT. Braja Elektrik Motor Surabaya, as the keynote speaker. The event began at 09:00 WIB and continued until 13:00 WIB.

During the seminar, Ayuning Fitri Desanti provided an in-depth discussion on electric motorcycle conversion as a solution to reduce emissions and the negative impact of motor vehicles on the environment. The seminar aimed to expand participants' knowledge of the latest automotive technologies and efforts to protect the earth through electric vehicle innovations.

In his opening remarks, the Chairperson Yusuf Al Khoeri expressed gratitude to all parties who supported the event. He emphasized that the seminar aimed to broaden knowledge about automotive technology and stimulate discussion on emission conversion.

Meanwhile, in his address, HIMA Otomotif Advisor Dr. Phil. Afri Yudantoko, S.Pd., M.Pd., underscored the importance of technology in the automotive field and the positive impact of emission conversion. He hoped that the seminar would provide new insights and enhance welfare and quality of life through a better understanding of technology.

Department Head Dr. Ir. Gunadi, S.Pd., M.Pd., IPU, also touched upon plans for procuring electric vehicles for educational orientation. He hoped that the seminar would serve as a stepping stone to introduce the latest automotive technologies to students and the wider community.

The seminar is expected to serve as a platform to promote electric vehicles and support global efforts to combat climate change.(T)
